This report of the situation of the elderly in Thailand is a report commissioned by the National Committee for the Elderly, in accordance with the Elderly Act of 2003Article 9 (10) stipulating the preparation of an annual report on the status of the elderly for submission to the Cabinet.The National Committee for the Elderly has assigned the Foundation of ThaiGerontology Research and Development Institute (TGRI) to prepare this assessment of the situation of the elderly in Thailand annually since 2004
