Meanwhile, the reliance on income from children or family support has been declining. The reliance on savings and assets of Thai older persons remains relatively low. Over the past two decades, it has been observed that the proportion of individuals aged 60 years or older who continue to work and earn income from employment in Thailand has been decreasing.
