The 2023 Report on the Situation of Older Persons in Thailand presents the theme
“The Situation of a Complete-aged Society” to provide information, knowledge, and
various situations related to Thai older persons. The aim is for this report to be
beneficial to policymakers, administrators, academics, and the general public
the total population. In 2023, Thailand has a population of 13 million people age 60 years
or older out of a total population of 66 million people, or about 19.97%. This indicates that,
at the time of this report, Thailand was close to becoming a ‘complete-aged’ society
